Petrus discovered his love for horses when working as a groom at the yard where Dayle and Tamar started riding. Starting at a very young age amongst a much older groom staff, Petrus made sure he learned as much as he could about the sport and his favourite animal.
On arriving and working at Farnham, Tamar noticed Petrus’ obvious passion for his job and offered to teach him to ride and coach. Taking to the saddle like a duck to water, and taking to the arena with great enthusiam, Petrus proved very early on that he had chosen the right career. Not only has Petrus got a natural talent in the saddle, but his patience and love for his clients of all ages is obvious.
