The Farnham Riding Schools and Livery Yards have a range of services to offer all equine enthusiasts of any age and level.
Riding Lessons:
Farnham Chartwell has a team of 5 qualified instructors who can cater to any level of experience. We offer a unique system whereby you can improve your riding from complete novice level right up to competitive riding.
Farnham Kyalami also caters to all levels, with 3 qualified instructors ready to help you reach your personal riding goals. Tamar Bernstein (owner and head instructor) is a FEI qualified coach and competes at Open level in showjumping and offers professional coaching to all aspiring competitive riders of any age.

Five-Star Livery (Stabling):
Both Farnham venues offer beautifully maintained facilities, with fully equipped arenas and top class stables. Our grooms staff and stable managers have many years experience and treat your horses with the utmost care and respect. We only feed the best quality grass and concentrates and we have a wide variety of performance-improving supplements on offer. Carrots get delivered to the yards on a weekly basis, to ensure that your horse is always spoilt. All horses at Farnham are cared for and treated as the individuals they are.
Outrides:
Farnham Kyalami is centrally based in the heart of Kyalami, a five minute walk from Inanda Hills outrides, Inanda Country Base and K.E.P. The outrides and bridle paths are secure and safe for horses to have a quiet stroll or a full out gallop, with cross country jumps of all levels at your disposal. A perfect venue for the happy hacker.
Pony Parties:
Farnham Chartwell is the perfect venue for children’s birthday parties. We offer group packages for children to make use of our magnificent lapa facilities with access to our superbly patient school ponies and qualified instructors to oversee the event.
Packages can be tailored to suit individual needs.

Pony Camps:
Pony camps happen regularly at both branches and attendance is open to all riders. Watch our events calendar for details!
Training Shows:
Both branches hold regular jumping and dressage training shows that are open to all equestrians. Entry forms can be downloaded from this website. Check out our event calendar for our next up and coming show. Our training shows are professionally run by the Farnham Team, with SANEF rules but without distracting from the fun and relaxed environment.
Instructor Supervision at Graded and Interschools Shows:
We offer instructor supervision at all graded and interschools shows free of charge. Instructors organise your schedule for you and attend the show with the rider to assist with walking the course and to offer support and coaching throughout the event.
